Ethan ~ Newborn Session

Some people will say it is gas, but I REALLY, REALLY think Ethan and I hit it off just right. With just a few clicks into our session, he gave me a great big smile!!!

Oh thank you Ethan – this truly made my day and I just get a giggle every time I see this. As far as newborn sessions go, this one was a breeze! Yes, a little long (but still doesn’t beat the record yet) and I could have gone even longer. But I do have to be considerate – I’m not the one operating on just a few hours of sleep.
Congratulations Jennifer and Sean! Ethan is a beautiful, healthy baby boy!

Well, now you have the opportunity to prove it!
Hebert Photography is participating in the International Charity Model Search to select North America’s Cutest Kid and to raise funds for the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation. (NILMDTS.org)

The International Grand Prize winner will win a $2500 savings bond, a $2500 travel package, and a $100 Target gift card. The second and third place runners up each will win a $500 savings bond and a $100 Target gift card. In addition, the top finalist of Hebert Photography will also receive a fabulous prize!

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Each vote is $1 (no limit on the amount of votes you can cast), and all proceeds from votes benefit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS.org). Every family member who registers their information on the Charity Model Search Website will also receive 1 complimentary vote. The top 5 paid votes, and the top 5 complimentary votes in each region will move on to the final judging round for a total of 50 finalists.

Grand prize international winner and runners up will be determined from the 50 regional finalists. The winner and runners up are selected by photography experts.

Baby Lakyn ~ Newborn Session

This precious little baby is Miss Lakyn. She is just the sweetest thing ever and already such a diva!!! We had a great session – she slept for most of the session but I could have “played” all day. Thank you to Lakyn’s mommy and grandma for coming and allowing me to photograph her! Cannot wait to see how she grows during her first year.

Yes, I’m a marathon blogger today. I have so many sessions to post from the last few weeks and I know everyone’s waiting on their sneak peek. Let’s hope the next big storm doesn’t knock out my Internet again:)

This sweet baby girl is Miss Bailey – she’s just beautiful isn’t she. Miss Bailey who sleeps all day at her house, decided she wanted to stay awake for most of our session. No worries though! I finally got her to take a little nap and was able to get some very sweet newborn shots.

By the way, Miss Bailey is Miss Olivia’s brand new cousin!!! And I’m pretty sure Aunt Margie is in charge of the bows and hats (which I love)!!!

Welcome Miss Kiran – Newborn Session

This sweet baby, Miss Kiran, was just about a month old at the time of our session. She was an absolute pleasure!!! I really want to thank her mommy though for being patient with me during the session … I just didn’t want to stop:)

New addition to the Brown Family…

Baby Jase is the new addtion and at the time of his session he was only 10 days old (which just happens to be my favorite age for newborns)!!!! Baby Jase also came with one very proud, big brother…Mr. Kade. I was so impressed with how well-behaved Kade was and just loved how fascinated he was with my “Harley”.

Meet Jesse James

This little man weighed in at 9+ pounds at the time of his birth – he definitely wasn’t the typical newborn baby I’m used to working with (to me he seemed more like a 3-month old). But despite his size, he was the perfect newborn model and mostly wanted to sleep (which is what I love for newborn babies to do). The only difference was that he was much stronger than most of the babies I’ve worked with. Once during our session, Little “Mr. Big” tugged at my hand while I was trying to mold him into the shape I wanted and his “tug” felt like the strength of a man – his own personal way of saying “leave me alone and let me sleep”! Totally shocked me and I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he’s walking next week:)

Anyhow, I really enjoyed this session and I have a pretty good feeling Mr. Jesse James did too (see the first image…that’s not gas – that’s a big, genuine smile for me)!

Sweet Miss Paeton’s Newborn Session

Help me welcome another brand-new, baby girl…Miss Paeton. She’s so beautiful (just like her mommy…here’s a few from her maternity session) and such a natural in front of the camera. And I have a feeling she’ll be in a few pageants (okay so I overheard her mommy and the aunts) – but why not when you’re this precious – you’ve gotta show the world who you are!!!
