This sweet little family happens to be a part of my family. Jenna is my favorite “girl” cousin on my mom’s side (she happens to be the only “girl” cousin on my mom’s side – hehe – so I can say that without getting in trouble). Anyhow, after a little over three years since their last session (Jenna & Mike’s e-session) she was able to convince Mike to do a family session. We had a blast – at least the girls did, but I think Mike did too especially since it’s over:)!!!

Tristan & Family

It’s hard to believe that this is the same little Tristan I met in September when he was just a few weeks old. He seems to have forgotten about me though because he gave me “the stare” for most of our session. But I’m pretty sure I found his trick…Tristan likes to be NAKED!!! The biggest smile I got from his session was when his mommy stripped him down – works for me:)

I had such a fun time at this session. Brock’s almost TWO and has such a great imagination – we pretended to be & “hunt” dinosaurs. Hey – if it works to get his attention, then I’ll do it!!! ROAR:)

I always have a good time when photographing Miss Jennifer and her mommy & daddy. This session was no exception (the last image just cracks me up!!!). The Scott’s are always in the best of moods and just a pleasure to work with.

{Mine} on Monday ~ Avery Island Family Portraits

It’s been sooo long since my own little family has had a family portrait. Not that we haven’t tried, but for some reason or another things just haven’t worked out the last two years (Lori just wasn’t into it one year and last year was the horrible pink-eye outbreak that affected the whole family). So finally this year (and early for us), we had the chance for our own (thank you Auntie Wendi for the idea and all the planning)!!! Our “session” took place at Avery Island in Louisiana (yes, where Tabasco sauce is made) – such a beautiful place!!! I could have spent ALL DAY there just photographing the scenery (that’s the next trip to Avery Island), but we were limited on time and patience. This “session” consisted of me doing my photo-thing for my sister-in-law and her family. I’d then reset and adjust my settings, compose the image (without me in it), and then hand the camera off to someone else (usually my brother-in-law John who did a great job). There was lots of running back and forth, but so worth it. Maybe now I can update my own canvas!!!

Meet The Currie Family

The Currie Family came in earlier this month for a family session. Such a beautiful family!!! Aren’t Reagan & Riley are just little dolls. And Riley…next time you come, I promise I’ll let you drive the golfcart:)

One more thing…Heather (the mommy of the family) and her twin sister are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I met them both at the 2010 East Montogomery Fair & Rodeo and asked if they wanted to help with another event I had the same month. They agreed and I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciated their help!

My oh my – how fast she’s growing!!! Miss Jennifer is just as cute as always and always so much fun! Thanks so much to Jennifer’s Mommy and Daddy…it really means so much to me to be a part of her life;)

Are these not the cutest kids or what? I’m not sure whether to say they make my job easy or if they make it hard. They were so easy to work with and so much fun, but they make it hard to decide on the “best of the best” to show at the preview session!!! I’m tempted just to show all 471 images – hehe – kidding of course, I would never put that much pressure on mom:)
