The B Family ~ Generation Family Portraits

A week or so ago I had the pleasure of photographing generation family portraits for the “B” family! I love doing these for so many reasons, but mainly because you can just feel the love (and see it). Okay, I know that sounds sappy but it’s true;) And unfortunately, I’m not showing the generation family images on the blog…I’ve gotta have some surprises for the “B” family preview.

Oh yes, and another reason I loved doing this particular session is because Mrs. B is an old TMS buddy. It’s people like her that really make me miss my teaching days:)

Brock ~ 6 Months

At only 6 months old, I can already tell that Brock is going to LOVE the outdoors!!! He already knows how to work a tractor and how to fish. In fact, he shared a fishing secret…you have to taste the bobber first!!! If it taste good to you, then the fish are gonna love what’s on the other end:)

Nicholas ~ 6 Month Session

Welcome back Mr. Nicholas – it seems just like a short time ago that I met him for his 3-month session, but he’s grown so much over the last few months. This time Nicholas included his mom and dad for a few…they make such a beautiful family!

Edmondson Family Sneak Peek

Miss Addison brought her mommy and daddy in for a family session a while back (and I have to say what a beautiful family they are). It was a hot day and late in the afternoon and poor Miss Addison wasn’t feeling 100% (it was a good day for a nap – which is exactly what she was doing she got here:). But Miss Addison did a wonderful job at being my model for the hour and I know mommy and daddy are going to be very pleased!

Scott Family Session

Awhile back I did the Scott’s family session, but because of the craziness of my life the last few weeks (Sawmill Festival, photography convention in Chicago, packing and unpacking, grocery shopping, cleaning, etc, etc, etc – enough excuses, you get the point) I totally skipped blogging on a few sessions. This was one of them…sorry about that. But here are a few of my favorites from a few of my favorite clients.

Jennifer will be ONE next month – hard to believe!!!! Thank you so much Tracy and Simon for letting me be a part of her life!!!

Introducing Ella

I had the pleasure of meeting Ella for the first time last week – she is such a beautiful baby girl. I could have stayed all day and night if allowed. But babies like this make me miss my own, so I knew after almost 3 hours it was time to go:) Thank you, Elizabeth and Will, for letting me come into your home and take over for awhile!!! And thanks Abbigail for showing me around!

America’s Cutest Family Search

Happy Friday Everyone!

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the search for America’s Cutest Family. The current leader is the Davis family. There are 4 weeks left to vote…so plenty of time to get the word out to family and friends. Remember that votes are only $1 and completely tax deductible.

The grand prize winner will receive many prizes, including a BRAND NEW CAR! In addition, I’m having a contest for the Hebert Photography winner. Just in the nick of time…

A week or so back The Goolsby Family came for a maternity / family session in one. I immediately made good frineds with Miss Abbigail (and her mommy and daddy too). Miss Abbigail is just so overjoyed by becoming a big sister she can hardly stand it and, as you can tell, she loves her mommy’s belly (and a beatiful belly it is). Well, those of you who follow my blog know it’s always the last thing I do and sometimes I don’t even get a “sneak peek” out on time. But I really thought I was doing okay since I had a few days before Elizabeth was scheduled to come back in. That was until I checked my voicemail from this afternoon and noticed I had a call from the Goolsby number. No she hasn’t went into labor just yet (at least not since my last message), but she is going in tomorrow. So I’m getting these posted JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME!

I’m so excited for them and especially for Miss Abbigail – I think she’s going to be the best big sister ever!!!
So CONGRATULATIONS to The Goolsby Family…I can’t wait to meet Miss Ella.

Alright, it’s official…I’ve entered several families in the America’s Cutest Family International Model Search and there’s more to come.

1. Families who’ve had a “family session” anywhere between November 1st, 2009 until March 31st, 2010 are automatically entered in the International Family Model Search.
2. One image is uploaded to the “International Gallery” and then all friends, family members, coworkers, people you randomly meet on the streets, etc. can vote for America’s Cutest Family. Votes are only $1 and 100% of the votes go directly to NILMDTS
