Miss Maddie ~ 1 Year (almost)

Maddie’s not quite 1 just yet. She came in for an early birthday session so we had plenty of time to create birthday invitations. But the BIG ONE is just right around the corner … this year has flown by! Miss Maddie has the perfect little babydoll look and such a beautiful baby!

Amanda & Al’s Wedding Day

It was an absolutely beautiful wedding — a lot of time was invested in making sure every little detail went off without a hitch – the colors, decorations, party favors (even personalzied tissue for crying tears of joy!!!)! And what a great bunch of people – I love seeing people being themselves and having a good time at parties!

Amanda & Al – thank you for sharing your special day with me. Congratulations and good luck – you two make such a beautiful couple!!!

Sandra ~ Senior Session

We’ve Got This ~ America’s Cutest Kid

Well I’ve had some minor issues with getting my images approved for the America’s Cutest Kid contest. Turns out I’m not in Canada!!!! Who knew? Crazy mix up:)

The contest is now in full swing – but I’m not worried one bit for getting a late start. I did a little spying on the other contestants and Hebert Photography definitely has the CUTEST KIDS!!!! Now all we need are votes!!!!

Just a quick run down again on how the contest works…

1. Once your image is approved, I’ll send you a drect link with your “Cutest Kid”. You can share this link with EVERYONE you know (more than once too as a friendly reminder:).

2. Ask your family and friends to vote – votes are only $1 and they can vote as little or as much as they want.

3. Also new this year – anyone who registers with their email and contact info will receive 5 “Favorite” votes to the “Cutest Kid” of their choice! So ask your family and friends to register too!

4. The finalist winners are determined by the number of votes received and the number of favorite points. The “Cutest Kid” with the top 5 votes and the top 5 favorite points will move on to the final judging round.

5. Remember all votes are 100% tax deductible and help out a great organization call Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.

Lori and Matt’s Engagement Session

This was a very special session for me and I was honored that I was asked to do it. I taught Lori in middle school way back when (she’s a sophomore at Texas Tech now). I promise that I’m not just saying this because I photographed Matt and Lori’s engagement session, but she was one of the best students I ever taught. The type of student that every middle school teacher dreams of (note that I said “dreams” of and not has nightmares about …. I had a few of those too;). Now don’t forget that I too have a “Lori”. Jason came up with my Lori’s name and one of the reasons I agreed to it was because of this Lori. I hope my Lori grows up to be beautiful, mature, funny, and intelligent… just like this Lori. As for Matt, I didn’t have the pleasure of teaching him but I’m betting he was a great student too. He was just so polite and friendly during the session. Not once did he complain about the heat or getting slapped in the face by tree branches on our “photo safari” golf-cart trip. I’m certain that Matt and Lori’s families are so proud and so happy for this young couple!!!

Ryan & Cameron’s Wedding

Kaye & Mark’s Wedding

I’m just finishing up an album design for Kaye & Mark when I realized that I never “blogged” about their wedding day! Whoops – that’s what the holidays will do to you. So I apologize to Kaye and Mark (and to the others that I never got around to “blogging”.).

Anyhow, the happy couple had a gorgeous wedding at Shady Oaks in Spring, Texas and everything was just perfect. A beautiful dress, beautiful couple, the best guests, and good food (can you say crawfish – YUM)…what else could you ask for! Thanks again, Kaye and Mark, for letting me be a part of your special day – I had a great time!!!

Miss B’s Secret Session

Miss B decided on the ultimate gift to her fiancee for Christmas…a Secret Session! He’ll get his very own personal “Little Black Book”. Lucky Man!!!

So what’s a “Secret Session”? Well, a very short answer is this…it’s a very intimate session where we collaborate to make beautiful and tasteful images. You pick out your favorites from the session and then I design the “Little Black Book”. Many women gives these as gifts to their spouses or spouses-to-be. A few have even just kept the album to themselves – just a way to celebrate their womanhood. Whatever the reason, it’s sure to be the perfect gift!!!
