Yes, I’m a marathon blogger today. I have so many sessions to post from the last few weeks and I know everyone’s waiting on their sneak peek. Let’s hope the next big storm doesn’t knock out my Internet again:)

This sweet baby girl is Miss Bailey – she’s just beautiful isn’t she. Miss Bailey who sleeps all day at her house, decided she wanted to stay awake for most of our session. No worries though! I finally got her to take a little nap and was able to get some very sweet newborn shots.

By the way, Miss Bailey is Miss Olivia’s brand new cousin!!! And I’m pretty sure Aunt Margie is in charge of the bows and hats (which I love)!!!

Welcome Miss Kiran – Newborn Session

This sweet baby, Miss Kiran, was just about a month old at the time of our session. She was an absolute pleasure!!! I really want to thank her mommy though for being patient with me during the session … I just didn’t want to stop:)

Meet Jesse James

This little man weighed in at 9+ pounds at the time of his birth – he definitely wasn’t the typical newborn baby I’m used to working with (to me he seemed more like a 3-month old). But despite his size, he was the perfect newborn model and mostly wanted to sleep (which is what I love for newborn babies to do). The only difference was that he was much stronger than most of the babies I’ve worked with. Once during our session, Little “Mr. Big” tugged at my hand while I was trying to mold him into the shape I wanted and his “tug” felt like the strength of a man – his own personal way of saying “leave me alone and let me sleep”! Totally shocked me and I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he’s walking next week:)

Anyhow, I really enjoyed this session and I have a pretty good feeling Mr. Jesse James did too (see the first image…that’s not gas – that’s a big, genuine smile for me)!

Miss Emerson ~ Newborn Session

Baby Caden ~ Newborn Session

Meet Baby Curtis!!!! He’s another BIG BOY!

Funny fact about Baby Caden and Baby Curtis {from post below}…Both were born on the same day, at the same hospital, just rooms apart!!! Oh and both names start with “C”. They must be destined to become best friends!

Baby Curtis ~ Newborn Session

Meet Baby Curtis!!! Believe it or not, he was only 7 days old at the time of our session – to me he looks about 3 months old already and he was so alert for his age. I caught him taking catnaps in a few but for the most part he was wide awake and ready to start exploring.

Baby Preston – Part II

Newborns are supposed to sleep – that’s the rule! Of course, there are always exceptions to the rule and his name is Preston! This little guy is just too interested on what’s going on in the world and doesn’t want to miss a thing. And each time we “thought” he was sleeping, those beautiful eyes would just pop back open (really I think he just loves being in his mommy’s arms)!!! Oh well, the upside is that if he stays awake most of the day then he’s probably sleeping through most of the night (which I’m sure his mommy and daddy would prefer anyhow)! But sleeping or not sleeping, this is one beautiful baby boy!!!!

Baby Preston – Part I

This handsome, little man is Mr. Preston. I had the pleasure of meeting him, his mommy, and his daddy last week for an in-home newborn session. I love doing this for new moms because I remember how crazy it was the first couple of weeks after we were blessed by Lori. Anything that made it easier on me was like chocolate icing – YUM! So it’s just my little way of giving back to all the new mommies:)

If you noticed in the title, this is Part I of Preston’s sneak peek. That’s because Mr. Preston will be visiting me later in the week for another session, so be on the look out for PartTwo.

Baby K ~ Newborn Session

Miss L’s Newborn Session

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of meeting Miss L for the first time ~ such a sweet baby! She slept pretty much the entire time. She got a little hungry in the middle of the session, but after that not a peep.

Congratulations Will and Kim! She’s beautiful!!!!

This made me laugh!!! I think she might be a Daddy's Girl already.

This almost made me cry...I miss those days with my Lori.
