Sweet Miss Paeton’s Newborn Session

Help me welcome another brand-new, baby girl…Miss Paeton. She’s so beautiful (just like her mommy…here’s a few from her maternity session) and such a natural in front of the camera. And I have a feeling she’ll be in a few pageants (okay so I overheard her mommy and the aunts) – but why not when you’re this precious – you’ve gotta show the world who you are!!!

I love maternity sessions…especially when the “mommy to be” feels beautiful about being pregnant {which I’m sure you know is hard to do}. I think baby bumps are the most beautiful site in the world {other than babies of course}…so round and perfect. Congrats Ms. Renee – you are beautiful inside and out!!!!. Anyhow, just a few of my favorites…

A week or so back The Goolsby Family came for a maternity / family session in one. I immediately made good frineds with Miss Abbigail (and her mommy and daddy too). Miss Abbigail is just so overjoyed by becoming a big sister she can hardly stand it and, as you can tell, she loves her mommy’s belly (and a beatiful belly it is). Well, those of you who follow my blog know it’s always the last thing I do and sometimes I don’t even get a “sneak peek” out on time. But I really thought I was doing okay since I had a few days before Elizabeth was scheduled to come back in. That was until I checked my voicemail from this afternoon and noticed I had a call from the Goolsby number. No she hasn’t went into labor just yet (at least not since my last message), but she is going in tomorrow. So I’m getting these posted JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME!

I’m so excited for them and especially for Miss Abbigail – I think she’s going to be the best big sister ever!!!
So CONGRATULATIONS to The Goolsby Family…I can’t wait to meet Miss Ella.

Baby K ~ Newborn Session

Introducing Miss A ~ Newborn Session

Back in October, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Kenny and Colleen while they were eagerly awaiting the arrival of Miss A. They were so excited and rightly so. I was honored when I was asked to come to their house to photograph Miss A’s newborn session.

Miss A is already her own little person and she’s not shy about letting people know what she likes or dislikes. And I’m thinking she wasn’t too keen about the whole photography thing. Not a problem though, I’m up for a challenge. As you can see below, Miss A finally agreed to a few. She even gave me a smile:)

Shiriki & Karl’s Maternity Session

I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with this beautiful mommy and daddy to-be for an “in-home” maternity session a few weeks ago. They will be blessed with their new baby boy in just a month or so. You can just feel the excitement and love being around them.
