This little guy came in a few weeks ago for his 9-month session. Goodness, he’s grown so much in 3-months!!! Lake is one happy baby and fascinated by big-trucks and “kitty kitty”!!! We tried for a few outdoors since it was a pretty day, but the trucks passing by and “kitty kitty” were more entertaining than me and my camera. I don’t blame you Lake – my camera is pretty boring isn’t it:) We also decided to have some “water fun”, but Lake wasn’t really into that either – that water was just too cold. But we still had a great session!!!!

Well it’s been a long while since I posted some of my own, but today’s Monday and I thought this was a cute one to share. It’s just a snapshot from our vacation last week…totally unposed and not even sure it’s in focus. But I just love Lori’s look – it’s like she’s saying, “Um do you mind sharing”:)!!!
We were at the Galveston Summer Beach Band series held at the Sealy Gazebo on Tuesday nights. The “L” girls had a great time and even did some “booty shaking” on the beach!
This is patriotic beauty came in the first week of July and was all decked-out for the 4th – isn’t she just the cutest thing ever???!!! Happy Late Birthday America and Happy 6-months to Miss Sophie! And my apologies again for being a slacker on posting to the blog!

This little man weighed in at 9+ pounds at the time of his birth – he definitely wasn’t the typical newborn baby I’m used to working with (to me he seemed more like a 3-month old). But despite his size, he was the perfect newborn model and mostly wanted to sleep (which is what I love for newborn babies to do). The only difference was that he was much stronger than most of the babies I’ve worked with. Once during our session, Little “Mr. Big” tugged at my hand while I was trying to mold him into the shape I wanted and his “tug” felt like the strength of a man – his own personal way of saying “leave me alone and let me sleep”! Totally shocked me and I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he’s walking next week:)
Anyhow, I really enjoyed this session and I have a pretty good feeling Mr. Jesse James did too (see the first image…that’s not gas – that’s a big, genuine smile for me)!

It’s really amazing to me to watch “my” babies as they grow throughout their FIRST year. When I first meet them, alot of times they can barely hold their heads up and by the end of the year their crawling, walking, and even sometimes running!!! Miss Jennifer was no exception – it’s been a pleasure to watch her grow and learn during this time in her life.
A little about the session…Jennifer came in last week to celebrate her birthday with me. We did the usual and then really had some fun with “CAKE THE BABY”!!! Jennifer wasn’t too sure about the cake just yet, but still had a great time with it!
Welcome back Mr. Nicholas – it seems just like a short time ago that I met him for his 3-month session, but he’s grown so much over the last few months. This time Nicholas included his mom and dad for a few…they make such a beautiful family!
