Well, what I can I say…I just absolutely love every minute with Lori – the good and the bad (aka “terrible twos”)!!!
And below is a typical session with Lori…first she starts out with a smile (usually only one and if I’m really lucky I get it on camera) and then, without any warning, she’s done!!!! But not me, I usually keep on with the session because shots like the last two are just priceless to me. I’m already thinking about a huge canvas for the “single tear” shot.
Oh and sorry about the hair…this was just an impromptu session from last Friday. Lori said “I take pictures” and I jumped! No time to worry about the hair:)

Happy Friday Everyone!
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the search for America’s Cutest Family. The current leader is the Davis family. There are 4 weeks left to vote…so plenty of time to get the word out to family and friends. Remember that votes are only $1 and completely tax deductible.
The grand prize winner will receive many prizes, including a BRAND NEW CAR! In addition, I’m having a contest for the Hebert Photography winner. The Hebert Photography family with the most votes will get a $50 gift certificate to Rico’s Mexican Grill AND a Spa Package that includes a 1 hour massage, a European facial, and a classic manicure (dang, too bad I’m not eligible) at Kingwood Country Club’s Day Spa – valued at $148. Both of these gifts were graciously donated…THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU!
The money collected from votes goes to the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep charity. This organization helps families who experience the tragic loss of an infant by providing beautiful, heirloom photography services. There is NO COST at all to the families and is a tremendous help in the grieving process they experience. Photographers (all across America) who volunteer for this service do just that…VOLUNTEER their time, talent, and the costs of providing families in need with beautiful portraits of their angel on CD and a DVD slideshow of the session. To learn more about Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, please visit http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/
Here’s how to vote…
1. Go to www.hebertphoto.com/vote for a direct link to the gallery
2. Once in the “gallery”, Click on “Houston” for Tour City
3. Click on “Hebert” for photographer
4. Then to vote for the cutest family, just click on their image, click “vote”, and then follow the prompts.
Be sure to tell all of your family and friends to VOTE NOW!!!!
By the way, if YOU have America’s Cutest Family and have not booked your session yet. Call or email me ASAP…I only have 3 spots left for the month of March!!!
Sorry, there are no more appointments available. If you’d like to be added to the waiting list, please call or email. THANKS

This handsome, little man is Mr. Preston. I had the pleasure of meeting him, his mommy, and his daddy last week for an in-home newborn session. I love doing this for new moms because I remember how crazy it was the first couple of weeks after we were blessed by Lori. Anything that made it easier on me was like chocolate icing – YUM! So it’s just my little way of giving back to all the new mommies:)
If you noticed in the title, this is Part I of Preston’s sneak peek. That’s because Mr. Preston will be visiting me later in the week for another session, so be on the look out for PartTwo.
ENJOY!

This beautiful baby girl has grown quite a bit since I first met her and she has such a personality already. She can go from serious to all smiles in a second and she’s not afraid to voice her opinion…that’s what a like in a girl – stong-willed and vocal (hhhmmmm…sounds alot like Lori). Anyhow, I wanted to put a few on the blog even though I missed the official “sneak peek”. Miss A has family all over the United States and I know they want to see her too!
Thanks Colleen and Kenny ~ it’s always a pleasure!!!!
ENJOY!

Here’s my little valentine playing “dress up”. Today is Monday and Miss Lori is at school so mommy can catch up on some work…I miss her something awful today. So I’m about to call it “quits” and go get my baby!
