Happy Tuesday!!!
Today I’m starting a new little segment on my blog called “Tips on Tuesday”. I get a lot of questions about what type of camera to buy and how to use it. I’m really no expert on cameras other than my own, but I’ll share what I know. If you’ve received my newsletters for awhile, you might remember that I use to give tips each time – but since I’ve cut back on my newsletters (once a season if I’m lucky), I thought I might as well post the tips to my blog. Alrighty then, on to the first tip…
Get to know your camera by READING YOUR MANUAL. Yes, boring I know and you probably would rather go to the dentist than sit down to read all the techno material that comes with your camera. But you must if you want better pictures!!! That little piece of equipment can do some pretty awesome stuff…but only if you know how to operate it. So get yourself a nice big cup of coffee (you’ll need it to stay awake) and start reading that manual – WOOHOO! You’ll probably run into some terms you’re not familiar with like ISO, exposure compensation, aperture – but no worries, we’ll get to that stuff later. HAPPY READING!
